The bicycle advisory board has nine members appointed by the city council according to the procedures of Section 4.01.030.
Members of the board are appointed to three-year terms with initial terms being either one, two, or three years, selected on a random-draw basis. No member may serve more than two consecutive full, three-year terms.

Get Involved!
As of December 2007, the BAB currently has no openings. However, we have a bunch of projects underway and we are always looking for volunteers to head up sub-committees, and to help out with planning and events. We're also interested in getting feedback from all neighborhoods as we develop the master bike plan.
If you are interested in getting involved, the first step is joining the BAB in one of the monthly meetings and introducing yourself to the current board. Or contact Kurt Niven, Secretary. .
