Get Involved!

As of April 2009, the BAB currently has two openings.

  • Do you love riding bikes?
  • Do you love Spokane?
  • Do you want to be active in shaping city policy while helping to make Spokane more bicycle-friendly?
  • Can you commit to about 10 hours a month of hard work?
  • Is your primary residence in the city of Spokane?
  • If you answer "Yes" to all of these questions, then we want you on the board. BAB is a volunteer board that reports to the office of the Mayor. To become a BAB member, you must fill out an application and be approved by the City Council.

If you are interested in getting involved, the first step is joining the BAB in one of the monthly meetings and introducing yourself to the current board. Or contact Kurt Niven, Secretary. .
